Our goal is for children to explore and discover new activities, enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, develop lasting friendships and memories.
Founded in 2013, our mission has always been – to change the world of the youth, one step at a time.
Our foundation is built on FUN RECREATIONAL INTEGRATION ENVIRONMENTAL NUTRITIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL SAFE. Safety is of Paramount importance to us.
Camp activities promote individual achievement and skill development, while instilling a joy of life – long activities and reverence for our wilderness surroundings. The many returning facilitators and Food Directors, demonstrate a loyalty to the program and provide a continuity in the activities which fosters expertise and mastery.
Growth
Our core values have remained unchanged since 2014. They guide our day-to-day activities and help us navigate the road ahead.
From developing new skills, to expanding comfort ones, to learning to work effectively as part of a team, we are passionate about knowing and celebrating our campers, We create a safe, supportive environment where every camper is given opportunities to learn about themselves to become independent, more resilient and build confidence.
TRADITION
While we remain forward thinking in our approach to camping, we enthusiastically celebrate and honour the many traditions of MYC.
Since the very beginning we have developed many traditions that are unique to our camp. We strongly value these traditions as they have a lasting impact on every MYC experience. Traditions which campers share are cherished across generations.
We believe that a natural environment is an ideal place to learn, grow, become independent, inspire, push boundaries and have fun.
